The war with East Crawford has devastated the northern side of Venango County. As the fate of Oil City remains unclear, several questions haunt the citizens with no certainties to ease their concerns.
Among these concerns is the question of whether Venango's military will realize their mistake of letting East Crawford sneak past them during their nap. Others wonder if East Crawford will change the name of Oil City's northside to “Tiny Titusville.” But above every fear, there lingers one question that has yet to be addressed: where is the Venango County Air Force?
The Venango County Air Force, based out of the Franklin Airport, has state-of-the-art paper airplanes readily available. Why they have not taken part in the conflict is a wonder to everyone.
Mayor Blunders of Oil City has the ultimate say in what branch of military takes action at what time. Experts agree that bombarding Titusville with paper airplanes could cause the East Crawford military to withdraw. But Mayor Blunders has not given such an order.
The negligence in question will more than likely open Mayor Blunders up to public scrutiny if the war does not turn its tide in a direction that favors Venango County. With Titusville having a much more advanced arsenal of military weapons, Venango cannot afford to spare any methods for the sake of fear. Blunders must make his move now, or the price could be dire.
