Titusville Rockets Team Colors Explained

The Titusville Rockets are known for those ugly brown uniforms that literally have nothing to do with rockets. Additionally, they are known for possessing a name that also has nothing to do with the town. We here at the Venango Republic had to dig hard to find out the history behind these nonsensical decisions. The answers will surprise you.

There's literally no reason behind them at all! The school just lacked inspiration and decided to go with concepts that make no sense whatsoever. According to sources, there litterally is no reason whatsoever these concepts should have even been considered.

"The town is ugly. There's no doubt about that." Says Mayor DumbDumb of Titusville "but the ugly brown uniforms came at a time when the town wasn't so ugly which causes one to wonder if they were predicting we'd one day be a slum...."

Some historians are wondering if rockets were an aspiration for the town in the days of the oil industry. With speculation going around that there are actual rockets that were never deployed, it has been suggested that the brown represents the rust they're collecting.

One thing is for sure, much like business owners sticking around Titusville, the name and colors still don't make sense in 2025. In fact, they never really did make sense at all. The team probably could afford to change everything about those uniforms and their name. Well.... Considering they have no money.... I guess they technically can't afford it at all....
