Prince Faces Backlash For Hurting Something Clever Sales At Fashion Show

It was an event unlike anything Venango County has ever seen. Everything was going according to plan. The models walked down the aisle to finish their run, the customers watched and ate their food, and the villiage idiot spilled wine on the only white dress making Something Clever wish they also collaborated with Tide Cleaning Solution. Nonetheless, everything was going perfectly. That is, until Prince closed out the event with his final selection....

"I was shocked by what he chose to sing" says the owner of Something Clever "while I agree with the line, I am trying to run a business. So hearing Prince sing the line 'you don't have to be beautiful' caused me to wonder if he was trying to hurt my sales...."

The soft opening was a major success selling out in approximately five minutes. According to the owner however, they could have sold out in two had prince not caused the customers to second guess their needs.

"Ultimately, we knew our products were irresistable to the female shopping complex" states the owner "but thanks to Prince, we had to stand around for an extra three minutes waiting for our customers to decide if they really wanted to buy."

Something Clever is considering a lawsuit with the late Prince for having to pay their staff overtime. "We know he has the money. Not just because it's Prince. But because we know for a fact that on his life insurance policy, he made himself his own beneficiary."

The deceased Prince has not commented on the event. He seemed too burried in his own concerns to be worried about a simple line from a song. Two things are for certain; he will not be making an appearance in Venango County again, and men who put on headphones to listen to prince immediately regret it by the chorus. Trust me! He will conclude the chorus and you'll realize you got kissed in the ear by Prince....
