Police Searching for Man Who Took Bite Out of the Donut

Police are investigating the vandalism of a donut shop sign. Formally known as "Olark's Donuts" the family owned business had to unexpectedly change their title to "Clark's Donuts" when on opening day, they discovered someone took a bite out of their sign.

Olark's name marred by man's gluttony....

"This is not just inconvenient for our business" says Mr. Clark, who up until yesterday went by "Olark" "Now, my entire family has to get new birth certificates, social security cards, and explain to the extended family why they too can no longer use the Olark name!"

Mr. Clark, formally Olark, is not against the name change since Clark does have a nice ring to it. However, changing ones identity takes time and money. Plus, there is also explaining to everyone you know that you no longer go by Olark.

"I still have people coming up to me thinking my name is Olark. I have to explain it's been changed unexpectedly because some moron couldn't control his appetite. It still bugs me that he never paid us for the donut either."

Unfortunately, the Clark's will have to settle for their new family name. Unless someone replaces the donut on the sign, they are stuck with it forever. So they might as well get used to it....
