Oil City Going To War With Rundown Building

In a new series of unexpected events, Oil City is suing a building thats been out of business for several years. According to sources, Oil City is so desperate for money, they have decided to sue some occupant of the Grandview Estates, which mind you, is more of an ugly view.

"We are so tired of not having any money to run our town" states Mayor Blunders of Oil City "the most logical decision is to sue the guy using this crumbling building."

According to Blunders, the building is not up to code primarily because the people running the town have driven out all the industry. Sources suggest that if we could somehow get Mayor Blunders a brain, then maybe we could save money to bring the buildings up to code. Unfortunately, experts have searched the county and can't seem to find sensible minds anywhere.

Based on information we stole from Explore Venango, 150 of 167 citations were dismissed by judge Seacreature concerning the building. This is not necessarily because they were invalid. We wouldn't know because the citations disintegrated in Judge Seacreatures water tank. We keep telling him to move his courtroom on dry ground.....

Oil City says that despite the constant dismissals from Judge Seacreature, they will continue to file complaints. "This isn't the first time we've been dismissed" states Mayor Blunders "we're Oil City. Our town is used to rejection. We are known for trying despite our constant failure."

It is expected that Oil City will continue to hold the occupant accountable for building conditions that came about from poor city management. In time, we will also hopefully gain clarity on why a business would choose a building in Oil City in the first place......
