The sudden absence of the mountain was noticed this morning when residents noted it was not there. Several individuals tried calling loved ones residing on the mountain but were unable to make connection since uprooting the mountain disconnected the electricity running through it.

Today, Mayor George Washington of Washington, capital of Washington County, accused Mayor Steelhead of intentionally moving Mount Washington as a political ploy to accuse Washington County of theft. Steelhead denied the allegations.

Tensions have been rising over the last two months, with Allegheny refusing to surrender Mount Washington to Washington County. As a result, Washington County has slowly turned the cannons of Cannonsburgh closer and closer to Pittsburgh. Once pointed at Pittsburgh, there is no telling what Washington County will do.
