East Crawford Strikes Southside Church as Battle of Oil City Commences

The Battle of Oil City has officially begun, with East Crawford forces overtaking the north side of town. Meanwhile, to the east, Warren County has also laid siege to Seneca Hill and is progressing westward into Oil City South Side.

Saint Stephen's is barely holding together during this dangerous attack. Three muffin hand grenades have already struck the structure. Although the damage was technically caused by an excavator demolishing the unstable building, we are still going to blame East Crawford for the damage.

Venango County is doing everything they can to defend the city. With no forces present, they are finding the task to be a lost cause.

In Franklin, Mayor Sockett's forces, from Mercer, and Mayor Dogfood's soldiers, from West Crawford, have arrived and are preparing to move down Route 8 towards Oil City. They are expected to arrive within the next day.

Unfortunately, Mayor Blunders is safe and has been evacuated to the city of Franklin. He's currently arguing with the mayor of Franklin over which city acts as the county seat.

It seems Venango's self declared capital is lost for the time being. The only ones disappointed are those who don't get out much. While it is not preferred, the city will be taken back again for the sake of our publication.
